MeiLan K. Han (MD, MS) is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System.

MeiLan K. Han (MD, MS) is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Medicine, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Michigan. Dr. Han has also completed a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Han’s research interests include defining disease phenotypes in COPD. She belongs to numerous professional societies including the American Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society. She is also an associate editor for the journal American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine as well as a member of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee to the COPD Foundation and Scientifica Advisory Committee for the American Lung Association.

Dr. Prescott G. Woodruff is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy, and in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF.

 

Dr. Prescott G. Woodruff is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy, and in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF. He has been elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation. After graduating from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at UCSF. Dr. Woodruff has also completed a Master’s of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. He specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine directs an NIH-funded research program in UCSF’s Airway Clinical Research Center focused on clinical and translational research into a range of lung diseases including asthma and COPD. These studies fall into three specific categories: 1) the identification of distinct molecular sub-phenotypes of these diseases, 2) the elucidation of disease-relevant mechanisms of airway inflammation and remodeling in the lung and 3) clinical trials of novel therapeutic approaches.

As an Associate Research Scientist and Associate Director of the SABER Data Coordinating Center, Dr. Ye provides guidance and leadership on disease modeling through the use of various statistical methods, including longitudinal analysis, survival data analysis, joint modeling and microsimulation models.

 

As an Associate Research Scientist and Associate Director of the SABER Data Coordinating Center, Dr. Ye provides guidance and leadership on disease modeling through the use of various statistical methods, including longitudinal analysis, survival data analysis, joint modeling and microsimulation models. Dr. Ye has been involved in research within several different therapeutic areas, including childhood liver disease, endocrinology, diabetes, tuberculosis and aging.
