Dr. Wise is a pulmonary and critical care physician with a primary research interest in clinical and translational research in airway diseases.

Dr. Wise is a pulmonary and critical care physician with a primary research interest in clinical and translational research in airway diseases. He graduated from Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Johns Hopkins where he is on the faculty as a Professor of Medicine. He serves as one of the Principal Investigators for the LEEP Protocol Leadership Group.

Dr. Holbrook is an associate professor of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Holbrook is an associate professor of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her expertise is in the design, conduct and analysis of multi-center clinical trials. She completed her MPH degree at University of California and her PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University. She serves as one of the Principal Investigators for the LEEP Protocol Leadership Group.

Dr. Brown is a professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Brown is a professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins University. His area of research interest is the structure-function relationship of pulmonary airways and vessels and how they relate to reactive airway disease and COPD. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He serves as the lead of the HRCT Reading and analysis center for the LEEP study.

Dr. Zeger is a professor of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Zeger is a professor of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is an expert in statistical regression models for longitudinal and other correlated data and other matters of clinical research design and analysis. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania completed his PhD at Princeton University.  He serves as the main biostatistician for the LEEP Protocol Leadership Group.

Dr. Tonascia’s expertise is in clinical trials methodology, conduct, and analysis.

Dr. Tonascia’s expertise is in clinical trials methodology, conduct, and analysis.  He completed his PhD at Johns Hopkins University where he is currently on the faculty as a Professor of Biostatistics. He directed and co-directed data coordinating centers for many multi-center randomized trials. He serves as a co-investigator for the LEEP study.
